First Baptist Church, Greenville is committed to discipleship. Although we have numerous small groups that meet each week, our primary times of discipleship are Sunday school, Discipleship Training, and Wednesday night Bible study.

Sunday School Classes

Sunday school classes at First Baptist Church are intended to be a smaller representation of the church as a whole. Sunday school classes spend time studying Scripture, praying and ministering to one another, and fellowshipping. Our Sunday school classes meet at 9:00 AM every Sunday morning.

Discipleship Training

FBC conducts in-depth Discipleship classes each week. These classes are intended to delve deeply into the riches of God's Word. Classes are available for all age groups and cover a wide range of topics.

Sundays

Childrens Discipleship for Spring 2009

• Preschool Studies - Preschoolers spend time learning important Bible stories. They also learn songs and play games.
• Truth and Grace Studies (Grades 1-6) - This study teaches children the important tenets of our faith. The study is based from the Truth and Grace Memory Book, in which they learn the answers to important questions and the Scripture passages that support the answers.

 

Youth Discipleship for Spring 2009    

• In-Depth Bible Study - This spring, Andy is taking the youth group through church history by studying the life of a number of Christian martyrs. The study is based on the book, Jesus Freaks.
